Weigh-In

All I can say is, "PRAISE THE LORD!"

I went tonight not sure how things would turn out, but I lost 4.5lbs and am sooooooo excited. I couldn't believe it and Roger lost 4lbs. Amazing! That really gives you a boost, if you know what I mean. If you've been struggling and things it makes you want to just get on with it and do a good job the next week. I wish I could bottle this focus! LOL

I pray you all are doing well and the Lord is blessing you. We've been extremely busy since my husband has been home. But, then again it seems like we are always busy. :-) I bet you all feel that way at times, too.

Well, my beloved it home with our dinner so I'd better go and eat it while it's hot.

God bless and have a lovely, LIGHT week!

Until the Shout,
Sis. Tammy

Family News

Where to begin. . . . . .

I put on 2 pounds this week. BOOOOOOO! It must be all the goodies my wonderful hubby brought home with him. I have walked twice this week and it would have been more but it was really windy on the first day and I ended up with a head cold. YUCK!!!!

Roger has been busy playing catch-up with all his mail and errands. I'm glad he's home. I'm not used to doing all his running and you want to talk about being busy? I think I met myself a few times as I was out and about and keepin' things going with the house, too! LOL LOL

Today has been a crazy day. Caleb had a lesson this morning in karate so we were there at 11:00. While we were there we found out that one of the guys' wife (Will and Candy) was trying to go into labour. He had been up most of the night with little progress. He wasn't sure if he was going to get to grade today. Caleb's grading was scheduled for 4:00 so we got there at 3:00. This way he could get changed and warm-up. Good thing, too because they went in about 15 minutes earlier than planned. Anyway, all this time Will's family (his brother and his family are all in the same class) were texting back and forth keeping tabs on Candy's progress hoping Will would still be able to get there to grade. He was going to be going for his Brown/Red belt, which is one step away from his black belt. Well, to make a long story short . . . . . .he left her at the hospital in the deliver suite (5cm dilated) just to try and get there in time to grade, but the hospital called him back while he was en route. So, he didn't get to make it. Brooke should be here by now, Lord willing. I can't wait to see her.

One of the women in the class, Margaret, buried her mother yesterday. I felt really sorry for her. She was struggling so much while trying to grade today. You could tell that she wasn't with it. The main instructor wasn't going to pass her, but one of the other women told him about her mother and he said that she passed, but just barely. She was in tears, poor thing.

Talk about a whale of a day. So much going on. I'm tired just thinking about it. Oh well, I know that I've bored you enough and probably caused some confusion with all that's been happening so I'd better get going for now.

I pray you all have a wonderful and glorious Lord's day tomorrow.

Until the Shout,
Sis. Tammy

Weigh-In Day

I know, I've not posted in awhile. Things are pretty hectic with my wonderful husband being gone. I haven't posted about my weight watcher either in awhile. Boy am I behind!! LOL

Well, I had put on a little bit which put me at only about 11 lbs. lost. Last week I lost 2lbs. and this week I lost 1. I only have 1 more to go to get back to where I was and I really was hoping it would have happened last night, but . . . . . . there is always next week.

I pray I loose more than a pound next week. I want to highlight another square on my graph chart. You probably want to know what that is right? Well, what I did is I found free graph paper on-line and fit it to how many squares (each square represents a pound) I needed to get to goal. As I loose, I highlight or mark off either a half or whole square. It is kind-of an incentive to keep going as I put it on the frig. LOL And it has been some time since I've been able to mark one off. Now that I'm back in the game I want to keep going.

Goal is a long weigh (pun intended) off, but I'll keep it up little by little. And too all you out there in diet land remember . . . . .
