There is a family that has just moved over here and they have 9 children. Yes, you read that right, I said, "They have 9 children". They are a sweet family and they didn't have anywhere to go so we gave our house to them and we stayed with a friend around the corner. It was fun and interesting. LOL
I don't know that we have ever had that many people in our home at once, well maybe for the church BB-Q, but never to sleep! The friends we were staying with came for dinner on Thursday night and there was a total of 18 people and 1 dog in this little house at once. Not sure if it was organized or not but it was a bit like chaos.
Now the house is all clean and tomorrow while my husband takes the children to a home-school get together (he has to go anyway, he's preaching the chapel service), I'll be home trying to get the mountain of sheets & towels laundered. Not to mention the normal laundry. Oh how I miss my American washer & dryer. :-(
In between loads of laundry I will be using the quiet of the house to finish up my studying for a ladies meeting I was asked to speak at on Saturday. Pray the Lord would use this feeble one for His glory.
I'm so glad that the Lord gives us opportunities to serve Him. Remember, you never know when you are entertaining 'angels unawares'!
